Notes:	Ok with Fedora Core 4 Kernel 2.6.17-1.2142_FC4. The Livona rpms version (20060128) had trouble, but newer version (dnloaded 2006-09-02) are ok. SMC part no: 99-012084-433.
Notes:	Tried with Debian Etch 4.0 on a via cn700 chipset motherboard.Installed madwifi tools following this link http://kineticbands.com/knowledge/entry/2/ When inserted this card, at times the machine gets stuck. Cant find out the reason for it.

Notes:	OK with Slackware 10.0 Kernel 2.4.29 && madwifi 2005-07-07 NOT WITH LATEST (surprisingly). The latest version keeps complaining about "wifi0: no wireless extensions", whereas version 20050707 works well (and calls the device ath0, as I expected).

Notes:	works well with Debian, FC4 and madwifi driver, automatic detected by Suse10, WPA-PSK working; association to APs with hidden ESSID does not work on channel 12 and 13 as of 0.9.1, see ticket #734. Works with WPA-PSK on amd64 Gentoo using wpa_supplicant-0.4.9 and madwifi-0.9.1. WARNING: According to SMC Engineering newer revisions of this card have been switched to a RealTek? chipset for RoHS compliance! not supported by Madwifi, you need a different driver!
Notes:	works well with Slackware 12.1 (kernel 2.6.25.2), madwifi-0.9.4

Notes:	Turbo mode 108Mbps. Works very well with Debian GNU/Linux and Gentoo. SMCWPCIT-G-CA is the same as far as I can tell.
